Make a Donation
Since its beginning in 1993, Cooking Matters and its thousands of volunteer instructors have conducted high quality food skills courses, helping low-income families in communities across the country learn how to eat better for less.
Today, 85% of Cooking Matters students graduate, taking with them improved nutrition and food preparation practices, eating habits, and cooking and food budgeting skills. Independent research confirms that the behavioral changes students adopt in Cooking Matters classes last long after graduation.
